삼성전자 “갤럭시 워치로 청력까지 관리하세요”
삼성전자가 8일부터 삼성 헬스 앱 개편을 통해 하반기 출시 예정인 갤럭시 워치의 신규 기능을 공개했다.
삼성전자는 4일 5대 건강 영역인 수면(Sleep), 활동(Activity), 식이(Nutrition), 마음 건강(Mindfulness), 생체 징후(Vitals) 등을 중심으로 앱을 전면 개편한다고 밝혔다. 이번에 공개하는 주요 신규 기능은 생체 징후(Vitals), 심장 건강 점수(Heart Health Score), 일일 유산소 부하(Daily Cardio Load), 신체 체력 지수(Fitness Index), 청력(Hearing Health) 등이다.
먼저, ‘생체 징후(Vitals)’ 기능은 삼성 헬스 사용자가 꾸준히 건강 상태를 파악하고, 걱정되는 신체의 변화나 문제가 감지되면 적절한 조치를 취할 수 있도록 돕는다. 갤럭시 워치 사용자가 일주일 이상 워치를 착용하고 수면을 취하면 수면 중 심박수, 심박변이도, 호흡률, 피부 온도, 혈중 산소 포화도 등 다섯 가지 주요 생체 지표를 추적하고 개인의 기준값을 설정해 이를 중심으로 유의미한 수치 변화가 있을 때 갤럭시 워치를 통해 알림을 제공한다.
또 삼성 헬스는 ‘심장 건강 점수(Heart Health Score)’를 제공해 일상 습관이 장기적인 심혈관 건강에 미치는 영향을 직관적으로 보여준다. 해당 기능은 수면, 활동량, 체성분 및 혈관 스트레스의 변화 추이를 바탕으로 심장 건강 점수를 보여주고 맞춤형 가이드를 제공한다. 예를 들어, 최근 수면 시간이 부족하면 숙면에 도움이 되는 팁을 전달해 긍정적인 건강 관리 습관 형성을 독려한다.

건강 관련 체력 요소 분석 기능으로는 삼성전자는 ‘신체 체력 지수(Fitness Index)’ 기능을 제시했다. 해당 기능은 심박수, 최대 산소 섭취량 등 주요 지표를 같은 연령대의 삼성 헬스 사용자와 비교해 볼 수 있으며, 이를 바탕으로 개인의 신체적 강점을 파악하고, 약점을 개선할 수 있다고 회사 측은 설명했다.
삼성 헬스는 건강 관리의 범위를 주변 환경까지 넓혔다. 삼성 헬스는 ‘청력(Hearing Health)’ 기능을 도입해 갤럭시 워치로 주변 소음의 크기를 측정하고 갤럭시 버즈로 듣는 이어폰 음량을 측정한다. 이를 바탕으로 소음 수준과 노출 시간을 종합적으로 계산해 소음 노출 정도가 안전한지 파악하고, 청력을 보호할 수 있도록 가이드를 제공한다.
